Easily the most disappointing game I've played

    The long of it:
Long reviews are for good games.
    The short of it:
F.E.A.R. promised to be a fast-paced, visually stunning FPS with creepy gameplay and advanced AI.  The AI IS impressive. But putting good AI in this game is like adding sugar to standing water. With the endlessly identical rooms full of identical enemies, the AI is hardly utilized. And just when you get out of the building that half the game takes place in, you enter another equally identical building. And it's all topped with graphics that fail to compare to games before this.
If you don't care about the gameplay and you just want the creepy story, then I hope you can handle seven minutes of hallucinations. Because that’s all this “horror” genre game has to offer. There is a story to the game, hidden in various laptop screens and recordings that are more of hassle than anyone cares to deal with.

The multiplayer suffers from the same problems as the single player, boring and broken. Unless you like extra bloated hype in your games, don't spend your money on this.

    The shorter of it:
F.E.A.R. is boring, repetitive, far from polished, and lacks up-to-date graphics. No aspect of this games makes it worth spending money on. And I know, I paid 60 bucks for this N64-quality FPS.
