Overview
LogoFeel Plus is a developer that has been absorbed into AQ Interactive studios, which is helmed by President/CEO Shuichi Motoda out of Tokyo, Japan; Artoon and Cavia have been similarly made a part of AQI.
Feel Plus studio was behind Lost Odyssey, an Xbox 360 exclusive title. It met great reviews and shared as a great learning experience for Feel Plus. Feel Plus started out with about 10 people and rapidly increased to 150 by the end of development of Lost Odyssey. Feel Plus currently employs a lot of key guys from Nautilus, Sacnoth, and Microsoft Game Studios(MGS). Most of the members in Feel Plus were the creators of Koudelka, Shadow Hearts 1, 2, and 3.
As for the future of Feel Plus they have three unannounced games in the works. Because they've hired so many people throughout the development cycle of Lost Odyssey they were able to split the workers into three teams. It's all packaged next gen projects. Feel Plus is co-developing Blue Dragon Plus with developer Brownie Brown for the Nintendo DS. They are interested in small downloadable games, but right now they have no plans. For future projects they will move in a new direction with technology instead of using the Unreal Engine 3 that was used in Lost Odyssey.
Feel Plus goal is to make Story oriented video games. Whether they continue to make only role-playing games remains to be seen.
2011 Work
Feel Plus developed Mindjack, a third-person shooter. It was published by Square Enix for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on January 18, 2011.
Feel Plus also released Moon Diver (formerly titled Necromachina), a downloadable four-player co-op game to be published Square Enix in Spring 2011 for Xbox 360 and PS3.
The developer also helped out Grasshopper Manufacture on No More Heroes: Heroes' Paradise.
