To use the Flight Pads Banjo and Kazooie need to fnd Bottles in Treasure Trove Cove on top of Captain Blubbers Ship, Bottles will then teach the bear and the bird how to use them and give you 25 Red Feathers to get started. To activate your flight mode all you need to do is to stand on it the press A, to fly higher you can press A again but each time you do that you will lose a red feather. However if your just looking for a short trip you can use it even without feathers as taking of takes no feathers at all.
They were not featured in Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts and Bolts because the Lord of Games did not give them back to the pair at the beggining of there new adventure. However at the very end L.O.G agrees to restoring there powers and a box appears next to him, inside a lies a flight pad.
