Pulling Game details

I was wondering if anyone could give me an example of how to pull info on a game using platform and name

http://www.giantbomb.com/api/games/?api_key=[KEY]&format=xml&filter=name:xenogears,platforms:22

I have this example I have been using but I can't seem to find a list of what numbers are associated with which numbers

I'm not clear on what exactly the issue is. I think what you have there should pretty much get you what you want - I just tried it out and it pulled Xenogears as the one and only result. You can pull additional details by accessing the "api_detail_url". You can get the platform numbers from the platforms resource and just looking at the ID numbers.
