Poll Do you like mustard? (538 votes)
Hearing Jeff's strong opinion on mustard, I'm curious as to how other people feel about it. is it generally liked or hated? I love it, myself, but Jeff isn't the first person I've heard speak out against it.

Which kind? It's kinda like asking "Do you like bread?"..
Mustard ass mustard
@sharkethic: Normal-ass. Jeff didn't specify, so I assume he just meant straight yellow mustard, not Dijon or nothin' too fancy.
So do I like yellow mustard? Sure. Your "normal-ass" yellow mustard ain't normal to me, but sure, it's okay.
I voted that it depends on what I'm eating, but I'm having trouble thinking of condiment worthy food I won't put mustard on, now that I'm thinking about it. Special shout out for eggrolls and that caustic Chinese mustard.
There are plenty of people like Jeff in the world as far as eating is concerned. I try not to pay attention to what they are eating.
I've recently had a habit of putting mustard into almost everything I cook, not that I am able to taste most of the time, I just feel it can't hurt.
It is one of those things you hate as a kid, but over time you learn to love the taste of.
As a side note, did Adam Boyes completely ruin Jeff's taste for alcohol?
@scampbell: Just in case. I like your style, man.
Yes. But real mustard. A nice wholegrain or a dijon. Not down with mustard that comes in a squeezy bottle.
@naru_joe93: Honey Mustard is the fucking bomb.
@yi_orange: YOU'RE A MONSTER
Yep. I prefer Dijon mustard, but I won't complain if it comes out a squeeze bottle. Mustard, some cheese, and a turkey sandwich is a great lunch. Throw a tomato on there too.
Mustard is nice.
I'm glad to contribute these message boards with insightful comments. Me smartypants.
I didn't used to like mustard and have over the years kind of forced myself to get into it and I find it's an acquired taste. A ham and mustard sandwich is kind of a staple in the sandwich kingdom and I quite enjoy one now. I wouldn't lather it all over bread though, at least not yet, a sliver goes quite far. I've gotten into pickle recently too and now that is great, a nice cheese and pickle sandwich is mmm tasty.
I never fully trusted it, being yellow and all, but I tried it on a hot dog once and never looked back. It doesn't seem compatible with most other foods, but I tried it with buckwheat cereal and that worked out fine too. It's kind of like the salt of liquid condiments - it seems weird that it'd accentuate other flavors, but apparently it's the shit with watermelon, chocolate and... other stuff.
Mustard it he key ingredient to a truly awesome Mac N Cheese, it needs to exist.
American Mustard is a bit shit though.... French and English Mustard for the win
Don't care for yellow except on the occasional hot dog.
I used to work for this place whose tiny little cafe would serve these roast beef and cheddar sandwiches topped with stone ground mustard. Daaaaamn that sandwich was good! I'd trade entire restaurants for a chance to get that sandwich again.
Mustard is pretty good but it's important to note that any "mustard" that's a homogeneous yellow color is not mustard at all but a devious culinary lie.
Mustard is pretty bad, you guys. Like pickles, if you get mustard on a burger/sandwich, it overwhelms the taste of everything else because it is so strong. I don't necessarily dislike the taste of mustard, but it drowns the taste of everything else, and I'm really never in the mood for something that basically tastes like a mustard sandwich.
I'll only eat mustard with hotdogs, so I guess I like it. Haven't really tried it with anything else and probably wouldn't want to.
I perfer pipe dope
I hear Vinco makes good pipe dope.
On topic, non honey on hotdogs and honey mustard on most other things like sandwiches or tenders.
