I'm not feeling Jeff doing the Nintendo Downloadable Releases

I absolutely loved the reading he did where he sang the fucking thing. That was hilarious!

That part is pretty crappy, I agree. Also stop trying to feel Jeff you pervert.

Sadly, the DSiWare and WiiWare sections have spawned some of the greatest laughs known to the bombcast, such the MyNotebook and MyFarm. It's AMAZING.

The Nintendo DL segment reminds me a little of "Hero of the Web" by Shawn Elliot on the old GFW Radio.  I give Dr. Tracksuit two thumbs up.

I think it's fucking hilarious and would be extremely sad if he stopped.

I personally think Jeff does a way better job.

I just wish we had Jeff Green come in every week to do it. He was amazing.

I don't know, Jeff's renditions of ZENONIA!!!!!! in a Drunk Scottish brogue was awesome. So much so that I actually remember the game's name and the name of it's publisher, Gamevil.

Agreed. It was way better when Ryan did it.  With Jeff it's like he's trying too hard.

I like both but I think Jeff's voices combined with Ryan's hardcore mockery make for the better segment.  I won't be surprised when Jeff also gives up on it and the segment disappears, I just hope they bring it back to force on guests that come around.  Somehow I doubt one Mr. Ice-T would stoop to such a level but I can dream can't I?

I think it's great. HIs ZENONIA accent a couple of weeks ago was absolutely brilliant.
 
But if I could choose, Ryan would be my choice. The dude is dope.

Sometimes that shit is amazingly funny.

I say 3 strikes (in a row) of crap and they cut that segment... at least for a while.  
 
I think the happenings in the SC2 competitive scene should be a segment by brad every week. I find it very interesting when he talks about it.

I don't enjoy it at all.  Just hearing the names was enough.  The descriptions just piss me off as to how dumb some people that are supposed to work in the game industry are and how much they suck at their job.  It makes us all look bad.  So just the names of all releases please?

I love it when Jeff reads them off in a very 80's kids game show announcer-guy-reading-the-prizes type of voice.

I think it's hit and miss. Some weeks at great, others not so. I think it depends on the games that are released and what those releases inspire. It's not the voices that I find funny usually though, but the pacing of the delivery like where Jeff decides to pause and the banter created form certain moments. Regardless of who is reading them, I always get a laugh or at least as stupid grin on my face whilst I'm walking to walk. People probably think I'm a serial killer or something.

Its hit or miss, some are just alright others have me in stitches. 

I skip it no matter who reads it. Who really cares about Nintendo downloadable releases? I mean really.

I love it! It's pretty hard to make those boring Nintendo downloadables fun to hear about, but Jeff manages to pull it off! :)

Jeff has made me laugh out loud almost every time he has done it. To each his own.

I dig it but I wouldn't be adverse to letting the V man have a go, or if they can keep Brad awake perhaps even him!

I'm with the OP on that. More than once did the sudden loudness annoy me. It's still funny with the accents end everything but it's often also uncomfortably loud of a sudden.

The Jeffman brings a new style to his readings every week, and I love it. The loudness is a small price to pay for his Generalisimo impression.

It's starting to wear on me. It was hilarious in the beginning, but it's starting to get a little old. 

It's the only part of the bombcast I fast-forward over. I'd love if they put it at the very end, or very beginning so that it didn't break things up so much.

It's a bit hit or miss at times but it's much more hit than miss. Also, it helped produce some of the best Bombcast moments of the last year.  
 
  

Brad should do this, to properly convey how totally uninteresting wiiware and dsiware are.

I really think Jeff does a great job with this stuff and I always look forward to that part of the show. The first clip posted above by Milkman shows exactly why Jeff is so good at this!

I think its terrible.
Way too long, way too forced, and it's more or less the same every week.
 
My opinion... it's a substantial blemish on an otherwise brilliant and genuinely funny podcast.
 
I also don't think it should go back to Ryan or to another member, it should just be removed or at least seriously edited down.
