Loved It.
Some quick notes on our premium movie podcast!
Personal opinion: This should be free content. I'm probably being optimistically naive, but I think the vast majority of subscribers here don't subscribe because we want the content behind the paywall. I think a lot of us subscribe because we think good content should be supported by those enjoying it - not just by marketers and their ads.
Keeping the video stuff behind the paywall makes sense. They are usually +1 hour long, and I assume it cost a lot of money (compared to just having articles being posted) to have that be streamed for the GB audience. I wouldn't think podcasts cost as much to host online, and having a podcast that isn't game focused could be a new entry way for non-GB fans to come and check out this site.
This is just my two cents. Either way, I enjoy just having more stuff get posted on this site.
@andorski: It has nothing to do with video games. It should be premium. It's pretty much the definition of extra content.
The mailbag videos is just the GB crew eating a bunch of shit and those videos are free.
I second the Cinemabomb title.
You people are making me hungry.
Just listened to it and it brought back memories of the old Screened days. Looking forward to future instalments.
Damnit. If I had known sooner I would've scooped the first episode before I left the house. Just know that I will listen to it eventually because you two are awesome. I've not been following many movies since you dudes left Screened so its cool to have a way to keep up with movies again. Thanks for doing this.
Never having heard the original Screened podcast I enjoyed listening to the movie talk (even though I'm not into movies at all) or maybe I just like listening to Rorie and Alex's voice. Either way, great work!
While I admittedly never got into the Screened podcast, I'm happy to see more content being created and I'm looking forward to some movie talk to compliment the Bombcast. Keep doing good work guys!
Very happy to have it back, I've missed it a great deal. Always appreciate both your views on movies.
By the way, do you still hate child actors/actresses Matt? :D
@machofantastico: Oh yes! Unless they are really, really good.

I like Cinemabomb as a name because it sort of sounds like Cinnabon.
I'm down with Cinemabomb. Sounds delicious. Plus, I'm sure lots of the movies discussed will be total bombs. I vote Cinemabomb.
Glad to see that it is back and that the curse I accidentally put on Screened is cured for the time being. I started listening at the beginning of 2012 and you guys stopped recording weekly and were very sporadic and then I was the last email ever read on BtSD so I feel responsible for everything....please forgive me?
I am cool with it behind a pay wall but is it possible to have a podcast like that still available on apps like instacast? All my listening happens on commute and if I can avoid having to manually download it to my phone from elsewhere that would be awesome but not a deal breaker if you can't.
As a premium member, I wish it weren't premium content because I want to throw it into my podcast app.
Otherwise, super happy with it so far!

I would also like to know about this.
Hey Matt same question as @jchenderson. I use Pocket Casts and would prefer to get it directly from there rather than downloading it. Cheers
You guys should just be able to plug the RSS feed into your podcasting app and it'll work. It definitely works on Pocket Casts, I just tested it out. It should work with just about any podcast app.
@rorie: Seriously, you are REEEEEALLY trying to get us all to subscribe, aren't you? You know our weakness? You're like Zod with a handful of Kryptonite, forcing us Supermen to kneel before you!
You're such an evil tyrant, Rorie...and I'll be subscribing very soon. Just please...don't suck my soul out through the back of my neck. I finally got it to stop hurting so much.
@rorie: I liked the episode. I don't know how it would play on a podcast format but I liked the few times you guys did the worse or worser stuff. Something about seeing you guys argue about what movie was more hot garbage was always entertaining. It would be fun if you could possibly incorporate that into the show somehow. You should also probably talk about the new Grown Ups movie since you know its your favorite franchise. ;D
I have a really good idea, if you guys are itching for topics to discuss, what about revisiting old releases that have come out between the last screened podcast and today? We could even get an informal poll going about which titles would be great to discuss.

Sounds awesome to me!
I hope @rorie considers this

I worked fine on Downcast. It also worked without me having to put in my log in credentials, which I assume is a kink that needs to be worked out.
It blows my mind that background needs to be given on Screened, BTSD, Rorie, and Alex. Was it really all that long ago?

I copied the RSS link on this podcast's specific page and pasted it onto my nexus 7 app and it worked.

This may not work going forward as the RSS will start asking you for your GB user/pass in the future. I'll check with the engineers to see what else we can do to make it easier to access on other devices.
