I don't think I've ever heard the AC in the bombcast. Was it really a problem?
They should turn the air on for the podcast
you realise they work in a office with other people? they meant other people have complained of the noise, not the listenersThat's not what I got from what Jeff said at all. Didn't he say people wrote in to complain?
@RhaknarI thought it was this too.you realise they work in a office with other people? they meant other people have complained of the noise, not the listenersThat's not what I got from what Jeff said at all. Didn't he say people wrote in to complain?

Yeah, they were talking about miccing the A/C so they could lay down a reverse wave to cancel that sound out. Wouldn't make sense if it was people in the office.

Uh no.
How many people do you know that complain about how loud AC is when it's 86 degrees in the office?
I hear it and it annoys me, but if it's AC then they should turn it on. I'd rather they be comfortable.
It's really nice that people are like "hey if they're hot, they should just turn on the AC, I wouldn't mind," but the thing is, you would mind. You really, really would. You probably wouldn't realize how totally unbearable it would be to have a constant drone like that on a podcast track until you actually heard it. I produce a podcast, I would know.

Pretty sure that they previously had it on..? Some people a minority wrote in and said it was loud and they turned it off because of it. Even though most people never noticed it. That's my impression.

No, I'm fairly certain they never had it on. It's only now that they're complaining about the heat because it's Summer.

How can they get a written complaint about the AC being too loud when they 'never had it on'. FUCCCCCCCK. Come on man..

@Kyle: If they'd never done it, no one would've complained about it.
As for me, I didn't notice it, so I guess they'd have to turn it on again for me to hear the difference.
I don't remember that happening, I thought they said people would complain. Though if they did have it on, I would assume it happened in 08 or 09, not this year.

Stop trying to confuse us with your logic!!!
Yeah, the AC has never been a problem. I think I noticed it a couple times, but it didn't bother me. Especially if it's 86 degrees in there.
The people who complain are just a vocal minority.
I don't think I've ever heard the AC in the bombcast. Was it really a problem?I agree never heard the ac once in all the bombcasts
I never even knew they had AC in the room. They should really turn it on for at least one pod cast and see how it goes. I might make a bit of a sound but I rather they be a bit more comfortable for their own sake.
I agree. I can handle a little background buzz if it means the guys are comfortable during the podcast.
I know I'd get pretty irritated after an hour or so of sitting in a crowded room with no AC.
Mr Freeze is good but c'mon go all out... ice cream sammies. Oh man... oh no. I have to go get one.
I've been listening.. not technically since the beginning but what I missed I listened to archived.. that counts. Right?
Yeah, I'ld rather hear a little bit of background noise then hear a Bombcast that always sounds low energy after the first hour because the crew is trying to ignore their discomfort. Seriously, on last's week's episode you could tell the air was getting too stale for them to concentrate properly by the end.
Yeah, exactly. Also I would die if I had to sit in a room for 2 and a half hours with three to four other dudes with no AC in California. I can't stand for it to be over like 75 in a room.Yeah, I'ld rather hear a little bit of background noise then hear a Bombcast that always sounds low energy after the first hour because the crew is trying to ignore their discomfort.
