500 error on poll creation

When I try to create a new poll, it takes me to the 500 error page and doesn't create the poll. Also, while I have you here, it's been doing this thing where the text field on creating new threads/polls seems to default to a white background with black text and a different font. Both problems seem to exist on Firefox and Chrome on Windows 7.

Clarification: this 500 error occurs when you try to make a poll in a game-specific subforum, as far as I can tell. If you just make a poll in General Discussion, the poll goes through no problem. It's still happening.

This still seems to be an issue. When creating this poll, I tried attaching it to the Arkham Knight sub-forum, but I'd get a 500 Error every time. It eventually persisted when I switched back to general discussion.

@jslack: Thanks! I don't know if this is on your radar or not, but I'm also getting an error when I try to edit the poll's body text. Here's what pops up in the console:

Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 404 (Not Found)

@conmulligan: Yep, thanks for the report. Def some funny stuff going on. Most of these bugs are related to some recent moderation changes we've made. Sorry for the issues, should be fixed on live site soon.
