I've run into this problem where when I'm watching videos in progressive mode, sometimes the video does a bunch of short pauses as if it is still buffering. The problem is that it does this even when the playback bar indicates I have this much video already buffered:
On a 3:36:20 video, it looks like I have at least 4 or 5 minutes ready to go ahead of where I'm currently at in the video, but I took that screenshot because the video kept briefly pausing like it had run out of rope and was frantically buffering. This is on Firefox.
