No images loading

I'm currently have a problem with there being no images loading at all on the homepage. Below is a screenshot of the homepage with all images missing:

It looks like the problem is the static.giantbomb.com CDN subdomain. I can ping the subdomain just fine. Loading one of the URLs that's failing returns an XML document, as follows:

Same thing's happening to me, I'm sure they'll throw the site through the ringer and get this fixed fairly quickly :)

Just coming in here to second this. I'm on the east coast, in NJ, if that helps narrow it down.

The images of the images being broken are broken.

Hilariously enough those images aren't loading either. But yes, I'm also getting this. Front page and forums are extremely busted right now with broken images everywhere.

Some images load for me, others don't. Interestingly the images you embedded to show the issue are not loading haha

Yep, this is happening. A few pictures seem to load, but 90% don't.

By the way, the pictures in the OP post aren't loading either, which is actually kind of funny.

Oh, thank god, I was hoping a thread like this would show up. I just hooked up a brand new PC and thought I had already somehow managed to mess something up...

Yeah, some aren't for me either; the first three, and your avatar wasn't. None of the avatars in this thread are showing either.

I'm in OR and having the same issues. I thought it was pretty great that the screenshot examples weren't loading either. I am fairly sure engineers are in route.

Call the top men. No images here either.

Yeah, same problem here though some are loading just fine and others not at all.

@cirdain: Yeah, I posted the images from Imgur, in the hope they might show (or that developers at least would be able to see them). I'm sure it'll be a simple fix though!

I am using the API in the final project for school and the images don't work either. Friday will be the presentation. :) (no fucking funny)

Have the same problem as well. Using chrome 43.

Same here, actually not getting most images, including the ones posted by the OP

Same problem for me, they must be aware. Strange how some peoples' avatars still show up.

same for me, I get some loading and most not.

I'm also having a similar problem. For example, on Austin's editorial, nothing (including all user icons) loads except for the last four images he uses in his post. However, in this post, all but euantor and SexyBuggy's icons load fine.

Might take an hour or so for every one of them to work, but it's resolved now.

Well, it's gotten better as now only about half the pictures on the site aren't loading instead of 90%, but it's definitely not fixed for me.

I have been experiencing the same problem since yesterday afternoon. The amount of images coming back up has been steadily increasing, though.

@sessh: @citizenkane: Try doing a hard refresh or clearing cache and it should come back (Ctrl + F5).

@cornbredx: I had an issue with a bunch of avatars not loading. That fixed it for me.
