This is really more of a feature request.
I'm reluctant to put my site password into a podcast app, because it's really unclear whether it would be stored / transmitted securely (I'm looking at Android Podcast Addict, where the way to subscribe to an authenticated podcast is to put the credentials into the URL, and this is not the only podcast app that works like this).
Would it be feasible to allow a user to specify a podcast password from their settings page, so that if that gets compromised it doesn't affect their site password?
