As it is now, yes. I would say that the DS3 in LBP and the Wii remote in Rabbids don't fit into the Lookalike Hardware page, though, since they represent the actual controllers and mimic your inputs.

Perhaps the pages could be merged, with a different title (to accommodate things that aren't just lookalikes, as above)

They can both coexsist, they're different enough, its just that Lookalike Hardware isn't as well defined as In-Game Controller. If Lookalike Hardware was more filled out it would look enough different to warrent no page merger.

One article is about virtual controllers that mimic the RL hardware and player input. The other article is about virtual controllers that look the same as RL hardware but don't function the same.

I say merge the two and rename the article "Virtual Game Hardware". Lookalike hardware is the article that should be deleted because it involves the use of RL game hardware regardless of function.

Why didn't you listen to SeriouslyNow?

@SeriouslyNow said:
No it's not.  Lookalike means they look alike but aren't always an exact representation of the branded item. In-Game Controller should delineate by referring to exact representations of actual branded hardware.

Because I've found it's rarely worth the effort it takes to read what he writes.

Also, totally forgot I posted a similar thread before. In all fairness, though, it didn't last very long and no moderator bothered to respond to it. :P

It's still defined in a way that is redundant to Lookalike Hardware.

Though other examples exsist such as the design of the Pokedex looking remarkably like a Nintendo DS in Pokemon Pearl and Diamond.

I don't really see a similarity to the DS, but if so this would be Lookalike Hardware. Devil Survivor is also listed among the games; the COMP in that game is Lookalike Hardware.

@sideshowmel91: It's not unusual for stuff to be missed. Go back a few pages and not the lack of locks on some topics.
