Don't send a PM to a user when their @ reply is quoted

Went someone does an @ reply to me, and then gets quoted, I get a PM for both of those posts. The system should be changed where it only sends out a PM for the @ reply, and not the quote of the reply. I don't know how this could be changed, maybe automatically removing the @StarFoxA (or whatever username) when a user quotes someone who replied to another user?

It doesn't seem to bother me much. What if someone says that they disagree with what I said and someone else responds saying that they agree?

I just turned off all that stuff so I don't receive any PMs for replays or quotes.

Just change your settings. You can turn that feature off.

I can't turn it off or I'll miss replies on images, blogs, and other stuff that I don't check as often.

I'm trying to go for 100 unread messages so the more messages for me the merrier :)

I agree. You shouldn't be notified if someone who quotes you is also quoted or replied to.
