I'm not an expert on the history of Konami and its divisions, but maybe someone can shed some light on what seems to be a complete mess of how people are attaching Konami to particular games.  Here's a list of the ones I could find.

Konami Software Shanghai, Inc. (active dev studio)
Konami COmputer Entertainment Hawaii, Inc. (defunction dev studio as of Aug 2006)
Konami Computer Entertainment Kobe, Inc. (defunct dev studio absorbed into KCE Tokyo)
Konami Computer Entertainment Nagoya Co., Ltd. (defunct dev studio absorbed into KCE Tokyo)
Konami Digital Entertainment Ltd. Korea Branch  (as far as I can tell, the Korea branch is just an office, not a dev studio...and this page is empty)
Konami Digital Entertainment Limited   (Hong Kong)

Anyone want to take a stab at this clusterfuck?  There's got to be some combine/merge potential here.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------
**Edit**
As we figure this shit out I'm going to remove entries from the upper list and put them below to try to keep things organized.

Konami Digital Entertainment is the new name for Konami of America (we are submitting these 5 pages to be merged)
Konami Digital Entertainment, Inc.
Konami Digital Entertainment Co., Ltd.
Konami of America, Inc.
Konami (America), Inc.

Konami Japan (we are submitting these 2 pages to be merged)
Konami JPN
Konami Computer Entertainment Japan Co., Ltd.
Konami Computer Entertainment Japan, Inc.

Konami Tokyo (we are submitting these 3 pages to be merged)
Konami TYO
Konami Computer Entertainment Tokyo
Konami Computer Entertainment Tokyo Co., Ltd.

Konami Osaka
Konami OSA Ltd.
Konami Computer Entertainment Osaka Co., Ltd.

Konami (the primary company)
Konami Corporation
Konami, Inc.

Konami Europe
Konami Ltd.
Konami UK Ltd.
Konami of Europe GmbH
Konami Digital Entertainment GmbH
Konami Deutschland GmbH
Konami Corporation of Europe B.V.

KCE Studios
Konami Studios
Konami Computer Entertainment Studios, Inc.
Konami Computer Entertainment Sapporo Co., Ltd.

Well, some of those companies are either individual development studios under the Konami umbrella or international publishing subsidiaries, but holy shit, what a mess.

Yeah, some are definitely dev studios.  But it looks like there's even multiples of some of the dev studios.

" what about we start with the digital entertainments?

Konami Digital Entertainment, Inc.
Konami Digital Entertainment Limited
Konami Digital Entertainment Co., Ltd.   is there any difference between those 3? the korea/gmbh(europe) seem fine to leave separate, but i can't tell the difference besides name in these. "

Yeah, I think it's safe to merge those together.  The second one doesn't even have anything on it.  And from the deck, it appears that Konami Digital Entertainment is the new name for the American branch of Konami.  So those three should also be merged with...

Konami of America, Inc.  (this one even says it is known now as Konami Digital Entertainment in the deck)
Konami (America), Inc.  (this one is practically empty)

@Marino: If we're gonna start tackling the stupid amount of (same) company pages, I feel Atari needs to be brought up as well. My feeling towards the publishing arms of most companies is they're unnecessary unless there's cases where they were once or also develop games, SCEA, SCEE, SCEI for instance. Because really if you wanna get to the nitty gritty and look at the manuals and boxes for games, there are gonna be a ton of different publishing arms when you could really just have one publisher, Konami instead of Konami of America, Japan, Europe, etc. But then again we kinda need them so I dunno. This problem has always bummed me out and makes me just not wanna mess with that aspect of the wiki, but it's great Konami might get sorted out.

I'm already working on Atari in another thread. ;)

And yeah, it's been a problem for a long time here.  I'm just trying to start the process of hopefully fixing it.

Okay... I think I have it sorted out for the most part.

Once the merges have been done I'll take a look at it again, because I think there's further merging that could be needed, but I can't wrap my head around it all at this point.
