how to edit characters

I was trying to edit a character; I clicked edit article, but the screen shadowed out and I was given the edit box thing. I did my editing and tried to save it, but it there was no "preview" button or anything like it. The save changes button was shadowed out as well. The only thing was the "X" on the upper-right hand corner of the screen and that lost my changes. Does anyone know how to edit a character without losing your changes?

I believe all you need to do is click save. I don't remember seeing a preview button anywhere. I'll go check it out.

If I'm not mistaken, you have to click Preview, then "Save Changes."

I just can't see the preview button anywhere, is it because I'm using Internet Explorer? Would I have to use Mozilla Firefox?

I'm not sure about this specific problem, but I suggest you discontinue using IE for editing on Giant Bomb.
