If you cleaned your keyboard anytime before 10:18 AM, you are lying.

I've been using my desktop PC alot, the key stopped working on my macbook two days ago. I didn't have access to my desktop until now.

Edit: I genuinely am not lying about my problem, I just wanted to know if anyone had any ideas about how to get the key working again.

If you have Applecare, take it to them and get the to fix it for free. If you don't have Applecare... why the fuck don't you have Applecare?

Take it somewhere to get it fixed or use on-screen keyboard.  Macs have on-screen keyboard, right?

How much would it cost to get it fixed without the AppleCare thing?  Take it to a Genius Bar, those are suppose to be there to help with Apple products, no?

Oh, I know.  My brother's laptop only has about 11 working keys.  He can't afford to get it fixed or buy a USB keyboard, so I'm thinking of buying him a cheap one out of pity.

Clearly it's fixed, but you ALWAYS need to get Applecare. Honestly, it's just a must. You never know what will happen. For example, I accidentally dropped a very heavy glass jar on my Macbook Pro (it shattered the logic board), and I had Applecare, so they replaced the whole fucking thing on the spot for free.

It's worth it.
