To make this not seem like spam, Amneisa: The Dark Descent is a game from the creators of Penumbra (as if you didn't read the title). While Penumbra was more based on unique puzzle solving, it did have its fair share of terror and chills.Amnesia, however, aims to better the opposite category from Penumbra: fear. Games fail to accomplish such a basic human emotion, but Amnesia plans to nail it flawlessly, proof being the trailer above. Enjoy.
Holy shit this looks awesome. I will probably not get it though, as much as I love the physics based controls in those games, I just cannot play them :(
I got all of 45 minutes into Penumbra before it scared me so bad I couldn't ever go back to it. This looks like it would do the same to me.
