Blog Etiquette

I want to start transferring some of the blog posts I write on my own site and post them on my blog here, and I wanted to check what is appropriate. 
 
Inside the blog post, would it be OK to put something like "Originally posted here" with a link to where I originally posted it (either at the top or bottom)? If I do this, and the blog post pertains to a specific game, is it OK to link it to the appropriate forum, or should I not do this if I include a link to my own site? 
 
From what I have read, this seems to be a problem if you're just some person that doesn't contribute anything to Giant Bomb, but if you are, it seems to not be too big of a deal. Either way, I wanted to clarify before I do anything. Thanks!

if it's dealing with the certain game, then it's fine. Link whatever you want to, I don't think anyone's too anal about that.

I don't see any problem with that. We have no problem with active users promoting their own off-site blogs & things.

As long as it's promoting discussion, it's fine.
