There are demo's up for both, and they're both pretty different.
Split/Second is a bit more unique, but I didn't think it was particularly special..

I feel Blur is the more worthwhile purchase, having a lot more content, options and replay value.
The 20 man races are just sheer fun as well.

To be honest after the multiplayer beta i was really impressed by blur, an was very much leaning towards it, but i saw that split second was better recieved in reviews and in some comments. This post just confirmed the purchase of blur.
