Dead Space or Resident Evil 5?

I know this must be a tired subject, or maybe not i dont know. My friend and I were having a dicussion about which is better, Dead Space or RE5. I say Dead space because the controls and just the apmosphere of being in deep space alone on a ship with weird creepy dudes. RE5 has you in Africa doing the same shit as RE4. Im not sayin RE is a bad game. I loved every single one that came out. But seeing a new survival horror game thats set in space seems more interesting to me. But whatever its all opinions right?

As much of the RE fan I am, I say Dead Space. it is a bit more 2009 than RE5, ironically.

Anyone who has actually played through RE5 and completed will know that it is the better game. It has great atmosphere, amazing graphics, and an awesome conclusive story. It's just so good. Dead Space is good as well don't get me wrong, it just doesn't have the RE charm.

How about both?

I'm leaning towards Dead Space as a survival horror game, but RE5 is just as good. Note that I haven't played either, but if I were to buy one of them I'm going for Dead Space. I'm pretty ignorant of both games so it's more of a gamble than anything.

If you are looking for the best single player experience Deadspace is your game. the game feels so fresh.

As much as I love Resident Evil 5 and the fact that I know I'll be putting more hours into RE5 than Dead Space, I'm going to have to say Dead Space. I feel that Dead Space was the better overall experience, but RE5 does give you much more to do after beating the game.

RE 5...but I love Dead Space

None of the games are all that original but I'd imagine that Resident Evil 5 is better made.

I'm getting RE5 now as it has Co-op so I'll go with it with friends, but I'm going to get Dead Space in the near future.

Dead Space because you can move when you shoot.
