It'll never beat the DSi clock for best DSi game, I'm afraid.
I loved the original though. I used to rent it from blockbuster for weeks on end, though I'm pretty sure I never got out the garbage place (as in, the place that contained garbage, not the place that was garbage to play). How the hell were you meant to beat that boss guy!?
I loved Earthworm Jim as a kid with only a Genesis it was my go-to game. It it kind of disappointing that other screen just a map but I cant think of any thing else that would be fitting. I would rather have a Wii ware remake in the vein of BC:Rearmed though.
I'm going to buy this for sure, as well as the HD version on XBLA for points. That means I'll have bought 6 different versions of this game throughout my lifetime. And I still love it.
That's good use of bottom screen! Yeeeeaaaah! There's been a recent rash of Earthworm Jim stuff...which is nice because it's more ways to play it, but he's about to get oversaturated and there hasn't been a new one in over a decade
Damn... this looks more like a modified port with some additional DSi features than an actual remake. I wish they'd make an actual new HD Earthworm Jim and give it some love and creativity. Fun franchise that went Down The Tubes before its time.

Well that sucks. I guess it's how Interplay will handle all their recently announced franchise revivals, like this and a couple of WiiWare stuff including Descent. Sad. It was obvious they only made these because they're starving for cash but still, you need to spend money to make money as they say...
