Far Cry 2 or Blur: Which should be my February game?

Long story short: I want one of these games, but my time is limited. They are totally different, and I have some experience with both of them. Which is better, and possibly why? I know the map editor in Far Cry 2 and subsequent multiplayer nonsense is really good, but Blur is one of the only racing games i've enjoyed playing for a long long time. They're both $20 on Steam, also.

FC2, if you honestly must play one of these. It's a good game if you want to be immersed in modern jungle/bush-warfare. Too bad the missions mostly suck, but it's fun if you play it in short segments. Blur on the other hand is just plain stock so to speak.

Far Cry 2. It's amazing. Don't listen to them.

I never really like Blur...

It's two different games. Pick a game you feel like playing. Racing/arcade or Rambo action. Both are "good" for what they are. As for the poll, people will just vote for the game they think is the best, and that could be people voting without playing any of them.

Far Cry 2 is a stinker. By that I mean it's a big piece of shit that you will be sorry to play. Really huge turd, if you get what I mean.

I haven't played Blur, but FC2 is something that I'm glad that I played. It has problems (including being WAAAAAY too long) but general plot and the ending are quite interesting.

Far Cry 2 is one of the worst games I've ever played. Stay as far away from it as you can. I don't know if Blur is any good, but I'd rather break my Xbox 360 than play Far Cry 2 again.

I haven't played Blur, but I was totally underwhelmed with Far Cry 2. Then again I've never tried it online either. Maybe I've been spoiled, but it just felt like it wanted to be STALKER so much more than it was. And the traversal... my god... nothing is more annoying if playing on a decent difficulty. It seems like you have to cross the entire map every single time, which wouldn't be a problem if it was actually as open as it should be. You'll find invisible walls and forced corridors everywhere. 
 
Like @VierasTalo said, you'll want to play it in short segments, and this makes the game seem much longer. So if you're short on time, you won't buy another game for a while.

Blur. Couldn't stand Far Cry 2. Blur was kinda fresh and fun while it lasted.

Blur. A bag of salt is more entertaining than Far Cry 2.

Play Far Cry 2 man. It has a really good story and some really inserting characters.

I hated Far Cry 2.  Blur is easily better... however there are some much better games than either of the two....

Far Cry 2 I'd say, but I never liked Blur.
 
The combat's not up to today's (spoiled) standards but its pretty fun to play!

This race is a lot closer than I thought it would be. Blur and Far Cry 2 are tied! That actually doesn't help me any. 

Option C is clearly the way to go.

I say blur. I've played both, and FC2 is just a little anemic in my opinion. it's a game you have to want to like to like.

whats wrong with you ? :P  why must you play one of those two? just buy a new 2011 game or something. its not like those 2 are top notch a-few-year-old games. they suck !
