Firmware 3.30, Controllers not connecting via wireless.

Just got 3.30 and now my controllers only connect if wired up. This happened during a previous update, and needed re-patching. Lets hope Sony have a fix soon. Oh Is anyone having this issue?

Funny you mention this but I don't know it's related. I had been avoiding updating to 3.21 but last night my kids were playing Ratchet and Clank and the system shut off on it's own then wouldn't recognize my controller when I restarted. It also freezes before the X-media bar shows up, it hangs there at the wavy line PS3 logo screen.

nope. 3.30 is running on mine without a problem.

No worries guys, after a couple more restarts they now work. Can enjoy FirstPlay from my bed now.

I was reading about all the problems as I installed the update but it thankfully didn't break my console or mess anything up.  It really is a shame the updates always have issues, and it shouldn't be happening.

Which model do you have? The Phat or Slim? I haven't turned on my PS3 in a while so I haven't downloaded it yet so I couldn't tell you how it's working in mine.

Only played SF4 though a wired TE stick. I'll see if my pads are working...
