Hey all,
My Xbox broke a couple of weeks ago and I'm looking to buy a new one and would like all of your opinions on what you think the first game I should play on my new console.
Any game is acceptable as I'll buy something new with the 360.
Hit me up with ideas.

I was thinking possibly ME2, would I enjoy it straight from the start. I was thinking a good old game of Modern Warfare 2.
Mass Effect does look fantastic though.

Mass Effect 2, it features unziping future-blouses and space furniture.

Both of those features sound like necessary requirements for the first play on my new 360.
Is there honestly any other game that can even compete with Mass Effect 2 right now?

I've never played either of the Mass Effect games myself, but should he play Mass Effect 1 first? I've heard that a lot of the fun is importing your character and seeing how it impacts your playthrough of the second one.

The reason I'm asking this is that Amazon is having a deal where if you buy two "Platinum Hits" titles, you'll get the third one for free. You can find info about that here.

I was actually thinking about buying the first Mass Effect and Oblivion for $45 AUD, about 40 of your American dollars, as it seemed like a seriously good deal.
If so should I play Mass Effect 1 before I play number 2?
I also heard as Castro said that importing a character from Mass Effect 1 is very fun.

@tehvanillabear: Go ahead and get ME1. After you can accept its flaws, you'll find a pretty interesting game, if only in preparation for ME2. Then get ME2.
However, if you are tight on cash, you could probably skip ME1. Just be sure to read up on the game online, or, preferably, on Giant Bomb's wiki of it.

I think I would like to experience what ME1 had to offer even though it seems it was very glitchy and flawed.
I am looking forward very much to getting my hands on both games and my new Xbox.
