Game mechanics developers forgot

It's interesting to see how all the incredible games we love actually omit a bunch of things. Of course, a lot of those mechanics they purposely don't put in for obvious reasons. Even still, it's funny to look at it from the outside.

Was the Earthbound style drowning HP ever been used again except for Mother 3?You know the HP drowning slowly after attacked and after a mortal blow you can still heal the dude until the countdown finishes.

Pretty cool list. I agree 100% with the absence of  a Gears Of War 2 quit button.
