I've been writing some stuff. Just got to get it ship-shape for publication, I suppose. Hopefully soon!
Personally, i don't feel like rorie has a super strong connection with the gaming industry anymore. I know he has had ties to it in the past, but he doesn't show any kind of genuine excitement towards games at any of the TNT's he has been on in the past years. I feel like this is a passion industry, and i don't know if he has that passion.
In a perfect world, GB would hire Matt Rorie (assuming he wants the job) and immediately task him with a Dark Souls endurance run. And the crowd goes wild!

GB community can be very picky, I do not envy them trying to find new staff that fits in, remember what happened to Brad Nicholson and to some extent still Patrick.
There would be no nasty comments in the Rorie articles, just saying.

@RVonE: yep, in a way, even the Tested crew belongs with the GB crew. They're all like one big family, like the crew of the Serenity or the cast of characters on Angel. Jeff being the tough-as-nails roguish good guy, Ryan being David Boreanaz, Vinny being Giles or Spike, Brad being the quietly religious guy who goes insane at the end, Will Smith being the Kramer of the bunch and finally Patrick being the Ray Barone of the whole affair. Rorie will fit in beautifully.

This is excellent to hear! Although I was secretly hoping that the reason for it was that you had clandestinely found employment and no longer had time to write.
If you could write a little something about Prometheus that would be fantastic, I'd love to read your take on it!
I believe he has said before that he would prefer being able to keep working with movies, and not go back to writing about video games. That being said, I love Rorie to death and would love to see more of him anywhere really, and it's totally possible he has changed his view on this.
It would be so awesome if Rorie joined the staff. It depends on what he wants of course, and if he is a good fit for covering video games again so we shall see! Here's hoping!
