I'm a huge fan of Giant Bomb and think it's by far the best gaming website available and I'd like to support them.
Are there any subscription packages or anything like that? It doesn't look like it and I can't even find any donation links...
How can I best help to support this great place? :)
EDIT: The only bad thing about this site is the name. I work for the government and am a little afraid of visiting a website called "giant bomb" from work, heh.
How can I support Giant Bomb?
"Supply them with booze and pancakes."Booze and pancakes are not enough. If anything, they'll just wake up constipated and hungover.
My suggestion: edit the crap out of the Wiki pages. Try to get to 1M.

In all seriousness though, the best way to help the site is just to keep visiting, posting and working on the wiki.
I agree with you. These guys have probably gone through all over their own personal savings to get this site up and running. I think Jeff even had to sell his house or something. Plus the fact that they're not making any money out of it yet (given they have no ads). I would also really like to do what I can to help these guys in these troubled economic times.

"They have actually had 2 ad campaigns on this site. Gears of War was one of them and I think Watchmen was the other. They were not intrusive so you probably didn't notice them. But I am sure it was not enough money to cover them for everything. I think they would like booze and pancakes over money any day.

"I'm fairly sure they're not in any bother. Whiskey media has the financial backing of Shelby Bonnie, who was the co-founder of Cnet, and only left Cnet about 2 years ago, so I would assume he is worth a fair amount of money. And their costs are relatively low, so I can't imagine money being much of an issue right now.

Best way to support is to edit pages and mod images. If you don't know how to mod images, from the main navigation bar, just go to HELP > Mod Images. You don't get any points like you do for editing pages, but you still help out a lot and make the processing a lot faster for people submitting images.
And as other people said, the Giant Bomb store is always up there. I don't know how to find the link from the front page though? Someone in this topic already posted the link though.
Has anyone here ordered any of the shirts/hoodies? Hows the quality? I don't have them, but from when I see Jeff wear the hoody, it seems kinda thin and made very well. Just wondering.

I see, you could be right, but I also listen to a film podcast, Filmspotting, that has sponsors but they also ask for donations from people that would like to contribute. They are a buusiness too from what I can tell, they have interns... :), and part of their podcast airs on NPR. If they can get away with it I dont think it would be too hard for GB to do it. Anyways, selling shirts/hoodies is good too :)
