Even though my internet rarely allows me to use it, this is very helpful. Thanks.
I made a thing to watch GB videos simultaneously (List Updated Jul 30)
Any possibility a 15-second skip backwards can be added? Sometimes you'll be paying attention to one view only to hear the aftermath of what happened on another and it'd be handy to be able to rewind a few seconds to watch things happen.
I added some keyboard controls. You might have to click the menu to make sure the main window has focus and not one of the players.
a - auto-sync toggle
s - shuffle
d or p - picture-in-picture toggle
f - fullscreen toggle
g or z - do a pause, sync, play routine
h - hide controls
j - back 30 seconds
k or space - play/pause toggle
l - forward 30 seconds
, - back 60 seconds
. - forward 60 seconds
left - back 15 seconds
right - forward 15 seconds
up or + - make picture-in-picture windows bigger
down or - - make picture-in-picture windows smaller
0-9 - will take you to minute 0 through 90 in 10 minute increments
Nothing is set in stone. Still making changes as I go.
Trying to sync from the GUI controls seems broken for me, possibly related to the introduction of the keyboard controls - couldn't get the sync to work through a few refreshes, but the G key sync magically fixed it. Also, this page is fantastic and saved me a hypothetical too-long relearning avisynth or something dumb.

Sorry about that, it should be good now.
@jetlag: Fantastic! Thank you so much!
Ipad Pro: at some point during every viewing the videos reset and I have to go hunting through to get back to where I last was. Anyone else having this issue?
Anyone know why this wouldn't work properly using Edge on an Xbox One? (I mean other than it's Edge..)
I browse to the GB main page and log in. When I click on the links I get the 4-way overlay with the name tags but just get four 'Loading Video's'. No response from the GUI 'Play' button but fullscreen, shuffle and PiP all work.
Hey I absolutely love this, watching the Minecraft streams this way has been fantastic. Are you able to control mute? I would love it if the currently focused picture-in-picture video was unmuted while all others were muted.

Sorry I can't change the volume with the GB video embed API. If I ever add the ability to play the files directly (with the user's API key) I could probably do something like that.
@jetlag i dot know how they can do it, but they need to give you some kind access to the multistream content to make this a permanent thing, i rarely watched this type of content before because I wanted to know what was happening with everyone. Now I cant watch these videos any other way. Seriously, thank you. I hope @zombiepie can get this in the community spotlight.
The 2020-06-17 Sea Beasts stream needs a re-sync after Abby's frame rate issues are resolved. This worked well for me around 54:52 into her stream:
https://jetlag.space/sync.html?v=15776,15777&l=Abby,Vinny&s=-565
@decaped: not sure if possible to add a fifth, but Ben also had his stream on giantbomb/premium.
Currently only Jeff's, Vinny's and Abby's streams are visible on the site. But in the Video Smoosher Jan's and Ben's streams are available for viewing. Where are those two pulled from?
Mostly curious, but I also prefer to do my own syncing and saving a single local file to watch in VLC instead of streaming them all at the same time. Less choppy for me that way.
The make windows bigger/smaller controls don't seem to work on my chrome windows 10
I'm still working on the 5-stream layout. I didn't do much with it before because they'd never used it.

It's the livestream embed. They often they leave them up until the archive is posted. You'll notice when you hover over one of them it says "OFF AIR" in the top left of the video.

I did notice the "OFF AIR" and assumed it was pulling the video from the stream directory. I clicked on the share button in Jan's video and got a link to his archive. But when I tried doing the same with Ben's I got a 404, which is weird since it still loads perfectly fine in the Video Smoosher.
For some reason the videos will not connect for me now on just on my laptop and I have third party cookies enabled which was the issue I had the first time. I can't figure out why. It started a couple weeks ago with Vinny's video not loading during astroneer.
Edit: Nevermind I reset my cookie settings and it started working again. weird
What is the easiest way to jump ahead further in a stream and then sync the other streams up to that point?
@ponchotaco: all of the videos will catch up to one if you click the "sync" button. But you just have to figure out which one they are all tied to. Usually if you change it to the picture in picture option, you will know which video the player considers as the primary one. Then advance that one to wherever you want to start watching and click "sync."
Just know that the primary video changes when you click if you "shuffle"
Also, I'm sure someone else could explain this better....
@noboners: Thanks man. That seems to have made it better!
I've been using this to watch livestreams lately. Here's the Minecraft stream going on right now, for anyone interested!
Thanks KamasamaK for the Share hint.
