I want to be able to rate videos.

A simple five-star system. Let me sort them by rating too.

i would say maybe. fanboys might come to a video and downgrade it.

It could be a good idea, but as Iam3green says, fanboys would ruin it. Though listing say, quick looks in order of funny would be an option I'd love.

I don't think we should do that.  I think it's safe to say we're all here because we enjoy the content and the community.  Rating and judging videos seems sort of redundant.
 
I suppose it's fine if we did do it, however, I think complications arise and people are hurt by ratings... see:  Jeff Gerstmann re:  Kane and Lynch.

Gametrailers is a perfect example of this, which has a population of mainly PS3 owners.
Every trailer that is released for a 360 game is instantly rated down, things like Forza and Alan Wake usually sit at around the 6-7 mark, where as PS3 games are given near perfect 10's. 
Let's not get into what happens when it involves a Wii game..
 
I like to think the GiantBomb community is slightly more balanced and a bit more mature, but the same thing would innevitably happen.

I want Giant Bomb to send me every game they own. Immediately.
