Looks like a combination of advertisements and awful humor/singing. And the computer sounds a lot like Sulu (or what Sulu would sound like if he was on The Simpsons).

I really dodged a bullet there, I was born 1990.  Really glad I missed that decade.

That guy reminded me of Eraserhead for some reason. Man, to come of age in the eighties.

I think I remember that show.  It's kind of fuzzy but I do recall tuning into some syndicated video game show that wasn't "Starcade." 

The video actually wasn't that bad in my opinion, but of course, I was raised on a steady diet of that stuff. Children's TV can screw with your head growing up.
