you're right, trophies and achievements do help a lot. seriously, i've beaten all my PS3 games, and played through some of them multiple times, but my ps2 games i have barely beat any of them. achievements are cool.
MGS4 (for the story even though I think its alil bit to watered down for the mainstream)
COD:WAW (COD campaigns are always alot of fun)
Orange Box ( simply one of the best bundles ever, I played half life 2, ep 1, and ep 2 and it was amazing^^)
For games like Kameo...pro league world of goo i cant really say since i havent really played those much....and UT3....well I'm assuming most people just skipped the campaign cuz its pretty much multiplayer with bots tbh. "
dont' worry i've been working on beating them. i've got pretty far on bioshock.
