If you guys watch the show normally, I'm on it right now! I only thought of saying Good Luck Have Batman just now. I have failed our community.
I'm on Who Wants To Be A Millionaire today!
Forgetting to reference a website you go to on national television?
Delete your account, you're clearly worthless.
@Demoskinos: That's the best part of only winning 1000 dollars: it's not enough that you have to pay taxes. Eat it, government!

Awesome dude, as long as you get past the 1000 mark. What question\money value did you go out on? Did they still do fastest finger 1st? What was that question? I love who wants to be a millionaire easily my favourite game show.
Cool! I used to watch the daytime version pretty regularly. Bit of a game show nerd. Congrats on your $1,000. You didn't go out on one of the "freebie" questions, which is a recurring nightmare of mine.
@SpunkyHePanda: The answer to one of the questions was "Air Traffic Controller", which I will be soon, but it was also the hardest question ever.
Pretty awesome, but I honestly didn't know they were still making new episodes of this show. Who's the host now? Is it still Meredith Vieira?
Didn't catch the episode, but man if I'm not a fan of the new randomizer format. I understand that the constant easy climb to $1000 gets tedious when contestants keep bombing out well before $32,000 (or $25,000, I guess it ended up being), but having contestants burn their Jump the Questions and then bomb out or have to walk at the very beginning isn't much better.
gould, did you get a chance to see how the categories randomized in-studio? I've wondered if that's something you're able to judge before you start, to see if the tougher questions fell to the beginning or if the easy questions generally remained in place and use that for deciding when to use your jumps.
@PsEG: Aslong as it's not as bad as that awful Hot Seat format, keep my Millionaire pure Chris Tarrant should host every millionaire ever.
@PsEG: We actually figured out some tricks about that, funny you should ask. Two of my friends were on the show, too: http://www.fredericknewspost.com/sections/news/display.htm?StoryID=143660#.UK50WofAd8F
We noticed something: occasionally, they show you the categories before they randomize them. They are in difficulty order we think, from hardest to easiest. The Casey at The Bat question was my 9, and the touchscreen was my 10. Definitely my hardest categories. They don't always show it, but it seems to work.
I'm assuming since your posting here the episode already wrapped up. How much did you eventually win and any idea what you're gonna do with the money?

@I_Stay_Puft: I won a thousand dollars. I'm probably going to use it to not starve.
Money is money man. I've always heard its pretty difficult to get into these gameshows, haven't really watched millionaire since Regis but do they still do the same process of elimination test?
@gouldgonewild: I think fastest fingers what I was referring to, didn't know they tested you during the audition as well.

That never stops being funny.

invest it and go into hypersleep for a thousand years so you'll come out a billionaire on the other side!
granted if society hasn't crumbled and inflation goes the way it is everything else will be insanely expensive so it wouldn't matter, but anyway...
Good job on winning something. I don't like the show though. Even if it is $1 million, it comes off as way too serious and stressful.
