Is anyone else pleasantly surprised with...

...The price of Wolfenstein 3D on consoles? I mean, on XBLA, the ports of all fps' previous to this started out at 800 points. It's also been quite some time since we got such a good game at the 400 MSP price point.

That was smart. You don't charge 10 bucks for a 15 year-old game with no updates. I bought it because I feel bad for never experiencing it.

Well yeah, there is that factor, as well. I kind of forgot to mention it in the post.

I have it on Jaguar..screw getting it now.

does it have multiplayer like DOOM?

It's a pretty crappy port though.  They didn't even put border graphics around the side for 16:9.  Really this is some extremely amateur stuff, like homebrew level.

Doom was ok for 800 points, although I got it for 400. But Wolfenstein is older than that, and nowhere near as complex, so even with the whole "Evil corperation hahaha" stance, theres no way they could justify 800 points, it wouldn't sell. For 400 though, i'll snap it up when I get my xbox back.

I can't imagine this game being any more than 400 points. You can buy this game for the $2 actually, so this may not be the best deal. Nonetheless, it is worth checking out if you have never experienced it before.
