King of online multiplayer multiplayer?

What game do you think is the king of multiplayer?; the best, the most fun etc? I'd have to go with Call of Duty 4 or still Halo 2 (cause its that good).

Counter strike, yup I still play it, and I still find it fun, just having a laugh with people you know and playing fun guns on that game is awesome.

If you look at the numbers, WoW owns the PC side along with Counter-Strike. COD 4 and Halo 3 continue to move back and forth between 1st and 2nd on Xbox LIVE.

Personally, my favorite online console games are COD 4 and GTA IV. I used to play WoW, which is probably the PC king.

The king?  World of Warcraft, by far.  My favorite?  Well thats another story...

Wow, the guy didnt explicitly state FPS games, and yet noones said Castle Crashers or any online variant of Street Fighter yet, how odd. I'll go with those, and i'll also throw in Diablo II.

For fun, the battlefield games can be great at times, being a medic can get intense, and driving a humvee with a friend is always a plus

COD 4 is the best as far as shear quality is concerned

I wouldn't say it is the king but I've had the most fun with  Far Cry: Instincts Predator's multiplayer. Being able to make maps and share with others is awesome. I think it's better than Far Cry 2.
