Let's get Dan his dream wedding! - THEY DID IT! TACO BELL WEDDING!

Aw man, I missed my chance to vote yesterday because the site was acting up, but I'm glad they still made it. Now to wait for the thrilling conclusion on the 7th (if I've understood right) day!

I originally thought that Dan and Bianca were the front runners. Then I took a look at some of the other contestants and their social media accounts. One of the entries has a combined 130k followers on Instagram. Another has over 350k on Twitter and Youtube.

I originally thought that Dan was probably the best based on his pre-installed fan base, but now I'm starting to think otherwise. If I was on the judges panel I know I'd be going for the person whose going to get my brand the most attention.

@captain_insano: Yeah, kinda curious what's holding this up. Maybe Taco Bell has picked a winner, but they're coordinating with that couple to plan the wedding and don't want to announce anything until they can say how the Taco Bell chapel wedding will integrate Taco Bell and its wonderful menu?

@bisonhero: That's my thought as well - they've picked a winner but are making sure that it's all actually going ahead before they announce? Weird marketing though to have complete radio silence - even changing the page to "Winner Announced Soon" with just an image of the chapel would work better.

That Vegas Taco Bell chapel is open to any one who ponies up the cash. If Dan lost this "contest", and he REALLY wants to get married there, all he has to do is drop $600 bucks. Easy. Crisis averted.

So in other words, the most let down you've been since the last time you ate at a Taco Bell?

Did they really screw over all these people who wanted a wedding at their establishment, and the people who voted for them? Really weird they haven't announced a winner. I'd be pissed right now if I was one of the final contestants. Think about it. These people want to plan their wedding, so if one venue doesn't work out you'd want to start getting another event locked down, right? Now everyone's just in limbo till Taco Bell remembers they had a contest.

Taco Bell can't decide on a winner. It's almost like their brand is based around poor decision making.

Anyone who is using taco bell as the way to get married likely isn't all that worried about getting married, so I'd say they can probably take their time. If you actually want to get married you don't rely on some internet voting contest, you plan it and get married. It isn't even expensive. I have done two vegas weddings and they were fine, cheap, quick and the couples got lots of nice pictures.

MAYBE ORGANISING A WEDDING IS STILL A STRUGGLE WHEN YOU JUST HAVE A VENUE IN ANOTHER PART OF THE COUNTRY? It's a minefield of 'wait and see'.

With so many amazing couples who entered the Love And Tacos Contest, we felt like we needed to do something special for the nine other finalists. That’s why when weddings open to the public at our Las Vegas restaurant later this summer, we will pay for the $600 wedding package in order for them to get married. Love is in the air in Las Vegas!
