I can understand if a customer is mean to you, I work in tech support and I am abused by customers on a daily basis. That never happened- in two cases I've read about this guy the customer was in the right.
It's not the customers problem, or their fault, if the product is held up. The customers deserve to know that. It's not the customers problem or fault if there is behind the scenes issues. If you pay for something you deserve to get it. Period.
Some customers do go to far, and I see it everyday. It doesn't matter. if you are servicing someone you are the face of the company. It is your job to make them happy. Being on the internet doesn't make this any different. Unless you don't want customers it's very important you do what you can to help people out. If they don't know something it's your job to inform them. Not in a condescending way, but to let them know. It doesn't change the problem, and shouldn't be expected to.
It's like this guy has no decency at all. Some of these people paid for things and didn't receive it for months or never received anything. They have every right to ask what's going on.
God what a d-bag; I seriously hope whatever company employs them finds out and stops this because this is destroying any reputation with their product. Whether the product is good or bad doesn't matter with something like this.

Besides being a total douche that does not know how to respond in a mature way and be a face for the company I can't take this guys seriously because of the way he writes. Walls of text, no punctuation and a lot of gramtical errors just makes me see him as a stupid loon.
The fact that the twitter feed on his website is still hooked up to his old account and is showing all the stuff the new guy is posting is hilarious. Whoever that is that snagged that twitter is my new hero.
Some no name company that makes a joke product that's worthy of a 3am adult swim infomercial commercial has bad customer service?!??!? I'm shocked. I found the whole thing to be funny. The customer was whiny and impatient. When you get customers like this, the best thing to do is to give them their money back and wash your hands of the situation. They aren't worth the trouble. The customer service guy was out of line but so was the customer. To me they are equally guilty.
The only person I think was in the wrong was the the PAX guy. He had zero stake in any of it and it seems extremely unprofessional to black list a company who seems like they make a reputable product solely because of a whining kid on the internet who didn't get special treatment and access to discounts that his order wasn't eligible for. It's a sad day when the whining internet kid who blows up on forums is able to take down a company singlehandedly.
But who cares, really? PAX is just PAX. If they're really in stores like the guy said and the product is good, there shouldn't be real issues.

Yea, but I guess that's the price you pay for hiring cheap-ass shady PR. Plus, i wouldn't ever give a disabled person that piece of crap. There has to be something out there that doesn't give you cancer by looking at it.
@Owlhead: I find this 'that's the price you pay for hiring a dodgy PR company'-approach a tad unfair. No-one in their right mind could expect the company they hire to provide this service to be so completely awful. You don't know what their marketing budget was. This dozy prick might have been the only one they could afford.
As for what the device looks like, who cares? Its functionality is what's important and if this device does, as a few testimonials I've read say it does, actually make it easier or outright possible for someone with disabilities to play video games, then it can look like Justin Bieber for all I care.
And that's the biggest tragedy in all of this. We can all laugh at this PR idiot throwing his credibility down the toilet. It is very funny indeed. But the credibility of the product is going down too. People who may be helped by it, probably won't be able to buy it now. It's a shame.

You're missing the point. This is no random EA support guy that closes your chat session without answering your question. This guy is supposed to be the founder, CEO, president and, by the looks of it, sole employee of a company. His company took money for a pre-order it didn't fulfill (yet) and, on top of that, he treated his customer like a grade-A asshole.

He is for real, it isn't his first accident of treating a customer bad.
I browsed some forums he used and he had been acting like an all mighty macho man that knows it all and lives the high life towards everyone.
His strategy of threatening someone with connections he doesn't have and people he doesn't know isn't something new either.

I just wanted to apologize for the way our emails progressed from beginning to end , You caught me on an extremely bad day and I had been dealing with 100’s and hundreds of emails trying to explain the situation to everyone on where the product was and you just pushed me a little too much and I should have just apologized and tried to explain things better. Also I had a really bad day losing a friend to an overdose and the stress of my newborn baby and the Holiday ,missing my family and just stressing on getting product out to everyone and why it was held up in customs wore me out.
I am deeply sorry for any disrespect , aggravation or lack of information on the delivery date. We knew when product was leaving china and we were trying to adhere to a strict deadline but due to port issues and air freight issues. The units are domestic now and awaiting pick up at customs . So we missed the 17th deadline and I apologize for that but it was out of my control and besides me no one else was helping me handle the situation so imagine the weight on my shoulders.
I’m not asking for any sympathy just for some understanding and forgiveness , I’m human just like everyone else and made a mistake. I underestimated you and its cost me a lot of trouble thousands of spam emails , a lot of personal bashing , and internet spam and trouble and just overall stress with my wife and newborn. I ask that you please accept my apology as a peace offering I will refund your money and give you your 2 units/Avengers free of charge please help me to get some of this negativity removed or at least my personal name although its already all over the internet and the calls and emails will not stop but any help will be appreciated especially with penny arcade as Mike and edit his own website I owe him an apology too which I will write next.
This is definitely one of those situations where the phrase "any publicity is good publicity" doesn't apply. The personal reputation of this guy has been decimated alongside the company. Google results tell the real story, here.
