Trying to get round to subscribing and I'm getting knocked back. Is this signup Visa credit only? I have absolutely no intention of getting a credit card any time soon. Also, has there been word on paypal support?
I also used a Visa and after clicking Charge my card I was just brought to a en empty page: https://auth.whiskeymedia.com/signup/paid/ with a broken link to an image. I have no idea whether my payment actually went through or not.
I'm in the UK on Royal Bank of Scotland with no avail. Got an error saying "Error creating customer: Declined - Call Issuer". Definitely got enough funds in the account too. Very weird. Might be the RBS' security procedures messing with the system.

Same here, I called the bank and they said the CVV was incorrect. I tried it again and got declined again. Woo!
@JoeMarsden: Didn't get a medal and don't see it on my online CC overview. Guess it just failed. My street has a funny character in it, which might explain the failed payment. But I'm not retrying it for a third time for a few days, until I'm certain my card doesn't suddenly get charged multiple times.
Edit: guess you got it working now. What did you do differently?
I solved the issue of the black blank page by using A and O in my address field instead of ÅÄÖ, so if you have any letters like that it could be what is messing you up.

I had my visa debit rejected too, had to use my credit card, which is kinda a bummer. I feel for you dude.
Just used Visa Debit from the UK here too, no problems. Though I have had issues with international orders in the past. Had my card completely frozen before because they thought something dodgey was happening.

Yeah, never had a problem with online transactions in the last decade so I don't know what's up. If I saw the muppet from the Halifax ads right now, he'd be getting a beatdown.

It declined instantly though, far quicker than it would take to actually contact the Visa servers and have them decline it for fraud prevention or lack of funds or anything. Will try with my CC tonight once I;ve checked it's all paid off.
I tried with my Visa Debit earlier and had it declined, 15 minutes later I got a call from the HSBC fraud prevention team. Guy said something about it being flagged for having "Giantbomb" in the name. Dunno if this will happen to anyone else...? =(

Same issue. I can't remember the last time I had a problem paying online with my card. Hopefully we either get some clarficiation from Top Men(tm) or the PayPal option as quick as possible. Also, I hope that I can still get a t-shirt if I don't sign up day one.

I'm with the Bank of Scotland as well and had the same issue. Looks like I'll need to wait until paypal becomes an option.
Just got off the phone with Halifax for the second time. They said the transaction is coming through as an over the phone payment, they were surprised when I said it was internet-based. The CVV they're receiving is incorrect, that's the only reason they're declining it. There's no way I've screwed it up twice so something is going tits up.

Just found out my card was blocked too. Unblocking it tonight hopefully.
