As a fan of the MotorStorm series, I wasn't really hyped on Apocalypse. That is until last night when I decided to watch some footage and now I can't wait.
Europe gets it on the 16th of March, US gets it on April 12.

Heroes tend to get pretty boring when played by yourself, but once you get a bunch of friends you can spend countless hours over it.
I still remember when me and my 2 buddies started a game at 4pm and finished at 4am.
Heroes are a little like Civ in that one session takes forever, but I find them more approachable.

Well Ono announced the game in Comic Con last year. Menu screenshots occasionally appeared featuring fan and official art (there was a contest for Urien, Remy, and Twelve)
@Timing: Wasn't Rayman Origins supposed to come out in December? I don't think it was ever officially delayed, it just kind of disappeared off the face of the earth. I think most people have assumed it doesn't exist anymore.

Wow! Thanks for that list. I'm a die hard Turn Based RPG/Strategy fan, and I have been dying for something new to play, but I thought no one made them any more for anything but the DS/PSP.

Yes it was supposed to come out last year but obviously it didn't. The game's still alive though.
Personally I don't think BRINK has enough media coverage so...BRINK!Oh and Red Orchestra 2 derserves some cred.Oh and OP those LA Noire trailers are amazing! Go watch "Sword of the stars" if you find them so stupid.

I think they are good too, but I'm just tired of seeing a dozen of them a week get front page space because Rock Star is making it while there are so many great games, like the stuff listed in this thread, that is getting zero attention what so ever.
From what I can tell, it's an RTS on a massive scale. Hundreds, maybe even thousands, of units fighting at one time in a persistent online world. You will design a castle and defend it from other players while trying to take over other players castles as well.

The new NWN is an MMO? Aww, man. No wonder they got Cryptic to do it. I thought they were going to make a new single-player version of NWN. I'm not paying anymore monthly or lifetime subs to Cryptic so forget that.
As for games I'm looking forward to on the PC. Probably the current DoW expansion when I can get to it. And Magika/Magika Vietnam.
There are a lot of games on the PC already out that I want or am looking forward to. I don't have a rush to get a 2011 game.
Hey, don't knock a game like LA Noire. It appears to be doing something entirely different from the norm, so it's not fair to put it in that particular corner
@crusader8463: I wasn't trying to be a smartass. From your description, yes, it does sound like it might be decent. But because it has "The Sims" in front of it, a large portion of the gaming population is going to automatically dismiss it.

Not knocking it, but it's frustrating to see so many great games get zero front page attention while games like LA Noir get a dozen videos a week. I mean across a lot of the major gaming sites too. It's sad seeing so many games never getting a chance to be known about, because they are not generic shooter #34653456 or because they are not being made by one of the handful of huge billion dollar developers.

I get that, and as I said it's a shame that people deprive themselves out of games they would like because of a name on the box.
@EVO: watching that Motorstorm: Apocalypse video make me really want it, but I also really want Portal 2 and LA Noire. I wish I had the money for all of them, but I'm probably going to go with just LA Noire.
Some good suggestions in this thread. It's a bigger game but I think Brink might make a splash. I think it might sneak up on people kinda like Borderlands did in terms of people not knowing how it was going to do and then it ends up being a pretty big deal with lots of people talking about it and being way into it.
The Witness might be my most anticipated game this year. Anything that has Jon Blow excited and passionate about is something I want to check out. 'From Dust', with saving the island and playing with geology looks great. Dead State is also exciting and looks like a zombie game where you real feel the survival aspect and I'm intrigued by the drama that will evolve between characters.
