I find a lot of endings to games, (especially the last few years) are usually the worst moments of the games, to me at least. However, the only game in recent memory that actually made me really want the sequal would have to be Darksiders. You could tell basically from the beginning what was going to happen at the end, but the awesome final shot from the sky was fucking sweet ass.
The ending of Zelda: Link's Awakening is probably my favorite ending, I still hum the 'Ballade of the Windfish' every now and then some 17 years later. The ending of Zelda: A Link to the Past wasn't bad either, I always like it when a game gives you a flashback to all the characters you met throughout the course of the game and how you changed their lives. The ending of Super Metroid was pretty cool as well.
