The Green Man Gaming Sale Thread

There are already a million threads about Green Man Gaming. So, instead how about we have a general GMG thread; seems like a good idea to keep everything together in a single thread.

Anyway, to start off, there's a 35% off preorder thing going on at the moment. I'm quite possibly going to pick up Bioshock: Infinite. Tomb Raider also seems tempting.

Wouldn't it be better if we just plain had a general sale thread? I've seen threads on really good Amazon sales as well.

I think it would be cool to have a thread for each service. Unless you had an OP who was willing to constantly update the title post with info and links, I feel like a catch-all thread could quickly because unwieldy.

Just to clarify, the preorders themselves are not 35% off. When you pre-order a game from that list at full price, they will send you a 35% off voucher which you can use towards the purchase of another game on GMG.

Regardless, I'll still try to update this thread when good GMG deals come around, it seems like good offers happen pretty often.

@BeachThunder: It's still a pretty decent deal considering there are games on that list that I'd likely buy new anyways. Getting $20 off a brand-new game in addition to that is a nice bonus.

GMG is a pretty universal website, same goes for GOG.com and Steam, but Amazon sales vary depending on your country.

Maybe someone could make a thread and keep the first post updated with current sales? That might be too time consuming for one person though.

OK, so it seems that you could Buy Bioshock Infinite (or another game that has the credit option), get the $15 GMG credit from that and the 35% off voucher.

Then you could buy Tomb Raider, which is already discounted to $45, use the $15 off (taking it down to $30), then use the 35% off - making the prepurchase $19.50.

Retailers(including online) usually apply a percentage off before they start using giftcards/credit. So it would be $45 - .35(45) - 15 which comes to $14.25. Also, GMG sometimes has restrictons on games that are discounted already that you can't use a voucher(which is what that 35% off is).

Well fuck that. They usually have 20-35% off near release date anyway, why bother with this?

Batman: Arkham Asylum GOTY Edition is $3.75 at the moment (75% off + an extra 25% off using GMG25-CZPYL-D5MQ6). At least according to Steamprices, this is the cheapest the game has ever been.

This might be falling on deaf ears, but Rock Paper Shotgun has weakly round ups of the PC deals found on Savy Gamer, which its self has offers for other platforms

There is a Codemasters Sale on right now.

I think its 75% off their catalogue, I just bought Grid and Dirt 2 on there for less than $8, so check it out.
