Alright, so this is it, the game you would want to have with you when all other ones are destroyed. So please only post one name of a game that is your favorite, no fair picking series! No bashing on other peoples games, but feel free to post explanations as to why your game kicks butt compared to all else.
Let me begin with:
Kingdom Hearts
The Official Forum for: Your Personal Favorite Game of All time
I really love Secret of Mana like someone already posted but my all-time favorite is Zelda: ALTTP. The SNES Zelda is still my favorite out of the Zelda series. Don't know if it's nostalgia talking or if that game just had the 2d adventure gameplay perfected at the time, but it's still the best in my book.

Agreed. Yeah ALTTP is up there as well.
Thousand Arms (PS1)
Yes, I know P3 FES is better in every way, but explicit lesbianism is still funnier.
"Im sorry you don't agree. It was the first turn-based rpg i actually played so naturally it is my favorite. I'm not saying it did anything super spectacular, but you know. I will warm you up to your bones if you don't agree that it is a great game."
I was just playing. You and Maxey have attempted to get me into it and i'm sure its great, but the graphics just bug the shit out of me. But in the mean time im going to give the key to you cole, the master of unlocking.
Xenogears. Not Xenosaga, Xenogears. It came out about the same time as Final Fantasy 7, made by Squaresoft as well, but no one played it because FF7 was so huge. However, I believe the engaging story, the more interesting characters (who had more than just one face to their personality) and the combat system were all way ahead of their time. If you look at the themes the game touches on, you can see that it is still relevant today, and thats something not a lot of games made in the 90's can say.
And a CLOSE second is Megaman 2, seems to be a lot of people's favorite.
