The unofficial failed concepts thread!

I want to see what you people have submitted as game concepts only to have them thrown back in your face.

I have successfully created the Duality, Disembodied Voice, Foreshadowing, and Spherical Worlds concept pages (feel free to add games and objects to all of them!)

But my 'Interactive Bathroom Fixtures', 'False Choice', and 'Hidden load-times' concept ideas have been rejected.

What about you?

Well, you know how in Half-Life and a bunch of other PC shooters (and now many console ones too) you could walk up to a toilet or a tap and press the use button and see the water flowing, and/or hear it?

I just wanted a unified page with all the games that allowed you to press the 'use' button on toilets.

Submit an object, then.

My concept of "flop" flopped

Someone didn't like "dot" (like pac-man dot), then I tried pellet, that failed. But dot was submitted and accepted by someone else

I was going to submit Luchadeer as a character, but chickened out

My concept of "Patch" was rejected because the moderator was "not sure what the purpose of such a concept would be". Personally I think it'd be usefull to talk about the history of patches and stuff, but I'm not that bothered.

I think their problem with a 'patch' gamepage is that it would include every PC game ever made and would just be a cheap-points-fest.
