I know they're a minority, but the're a loud as hell minority. Spamming every forum with BS about graphics.

I saw a lot "obviously better graphics than 360 and PS3" which I think is also not true. I think WII U will be more or less on par with 360 and PS3.

I don't care about graphics, as long as the graphics don't effect the gameplay I couldn't care less about them.....many 16 bit games still look great to me.

I agree and I do think that the Wii u has good graphics. But I think that the people who are bashing at nintendo's graphics are just making a point that in this era of video games their is an expected quality of graphics in games. So a lot of people don't want to spend 50 or 60 dollars on something that is not up to par with todays standards.

Ok so I'll admit I'm worried that the Wii U won't have the same processing power as the 360 or PS3.  There, I've said it, I'm a bit of a graphics whore.
 
That being said, how about market me on you're going to appeal to me as a standard gamer by providing an input method I like.  Not something I don't want to use, don't like, and don't get the point of for the gaming I'd like to do.  How about 2 shoulder buttons, 4-6 face buttons, a digital d pad and 2 analog sticks in a simple to hold interface.  How about that?  Don't expect me to trust you on the graphics when you interface element totally turns me off, and that's the only thing you're willing to talk details about.
 
Further- provide fucking specs.  If you want me to believe you can make something amazing with the processing power of your rig, prove it by telling me what's inside.  Prove it by not dodging direct questions.  So yeah I guess I'm a graphics whore, but that aside there's other items.  Plus I'm convincable that I should buy a wiiU.  But you might have to actually spend energy convincing me.  As of right now, Nintendo has done absolutely nothing to make me think I should pay attention to anything they will put out for this new console.  NOTHING.

Nobody has any idea as to the graphical capability of the Wii U.  There is literally nothing to discuss yet.

It shouldn't bother you. If that's the only argument you see someone give, then you know they don't really have a good reason to dislike the Wii U (or whatever system, really) and you should just ignore them entirely. Threads like this just light a fire under the asses of people with that mindset and make their convictions even stronger and more resilient to reasoning.

I honestly think people who complain about graphics frequently just don't know how games are made and don't honestly even understand what "graphics" means.
 
It frequently makes me sad how "good graphics" freuqently comes at the expense of good gameplay decisions and graphics-emphasizing gamers don't even understand why.

Creating a thread specifically to call out people expressing dislike to a console and calling them "graphics whores" isn't going to lead to any productive discussion. Locked.
