Uncharted 2 release date and Top 5 game 2009 (updated)

Uncharted 2 finally has a release date Oct.13 cant wait. well anyway here is my top five games for this year

Im glad its not coming out in november.I cant handle Uncharted 2 and modern warfare 2 at the same time.

it releasing in october is better for me too but hopefully it continues to sell through holiday season.

my top 5
5. borderlands (been looking at this since it was in gameinformer and the new art style is a big plus)
4. demon souls (looks like a awesome wrpg and havent heard anything truly negitive about it)
3.MAG (would be 2nd if its confirmed for this fall but i am really intrested in this of how it goes)
2.modern warfare 2 (hoping it continues and has a great online and a better single player than the last..)
1. uncharted 2 (got in the beta and thought it was great and my favorite new ip this gen so far. also i will be reserving it from amazon soon)

I noticed today that uncharted 2 is £32 on amazon, absolute bargain.

4 odst
3 assasins creed 2
2 splinter cell conviction
1 borderlands
if i could have mass effect 2 on it, it would be the whole list

It's a smart time to release it. Anyone else feel that MAG will get pushed back now? I just can't see where they are going to slot it in.

In fact Modern Warfare 2 is pissing me off. I understand why companies don't really want to take it on -- but it's basically got the whole holiday season to itself. So many games have been delayed in fear of being crushed by Modern Warfare.

I wish someone would have the balls to put an alternative option on the shelves. I get that Modern Warfare 2 is going to be a good/popular game but surely it's not 100% ever gamers cup of tea. For goodness sake, put some variety on the shelves this holiday.

Nice it is landing before Modern Warfare 2. That is good, because I know that once Modern Warfare 2 hits I won't care about anything else this year.

Uncharted and Borderlands for sure, everything else will be up in the air whether or not I buy it (not discounting their merits, just saying I can't buy everything).

Damn it! My birthday is the fifth!
Oh well, I'll preorder it instead
