Voting on comments

Wouldn't it be interesting to be able to vote on comments.

That way, the interesting (if there are any) comments will be much more easy to read. If you don't want to create "conflicts" (for whatever reasons) allow just upvoting/recommending a comment. A sort by votes/recommendations would be great also.

There used to be something similar to this where you could + or - a post. Now you can just flag inappropriate ones and the mods will deal with them.

It was a good idea that was taken away. It was nice to know what general GB opinion was on something, it should never have had nothing to do with moderation.

It existed, but got seriously abused, so they replaced it with a proper flagging system.

The one we had was useless anyway, if it was even working half the time it was still stupid.

It was a bad idea and it was removed, which was good.

If it has nothing to do with moderation it would be fine. I like the flagging system though but being able to rate up/down on a post is handy.
