Watch a Random Giant Bomb Video With This!

If you're like me, you like to watch old Giant Bomb videos when you're bored or just have some free time. However, there's so many videos to go through, you often times skip over a multitude of gems from their archives. Thinking of this, I thought it'd be cool to have a simple button that loads up a random video from GiantBomb.com.

So I made something just like that! Using Javascript and Angelfire, these links load up a random video page from GiantBomb.com, each separated by categories. You could either just click these links or keep them in your Bookmarks to click at anytime!

Got to love those Quick Looks. Gameplay backed with hilarious and informative (but mostly hilarious) commentary from the Giant Bombers themselves!

So, these aren't really the most elegant scripts for this, but I'm not really the most elegant coder. And they also get the job done. Again, just drag these links to your Bookmarks and you could have a random GiantBomb.com video in front of you with a simple click of the mouse!
 
Oh, and I haven't tried these in anything but Firefox, so sorry if they don't work. And sorry for making this sound like an infomercial. Well, I'm only sort of sorry for that.

Alright, sorry about the weird issues with loading and script errors. Didn't know my bunk coding would do all this. I'll try to smooth everything out when I can.

Okay, so everything should be a tad smoother now, so make sure to replace those old bookmarks with these. This new method should fix a lot of previous problems without causing any new ones, hopefully. If there are, let me know and I'll get to fixing it.

That's a neat use for javascript there. Words like a charm in Chrome.

Interesting, Firefox took a while to load this page (probably because of it's inferior javascript engine), but good work.

This is a great idea, I always fire up GiantBomb videos when I'm completely bored. But the JavaScript hangs slightly on FireFox and Opera.

The way you've written it, won't you have to add new videos to the links as they're uploaded?

This is the coolest thing ever.

Random office video is awesome, great to see some of these again, didn't really want to look through the features to find them. So far I've watched Jeff's Gin video, the Coney Island hotdog toaster vid and now watching the Mythic Coke Chug Challenge again. Good stuff. :D

inquery: Is there anyway that I Love Mondays and the corresponding QOTW could be tied together? That way I we could see a random I Love Mondays video and then the responses to the QOTW in the I Love Mondays.
