i was GS visitor, when it all went down, then I followed to Arrow Pointing Down even though I had just moved and had to go to the library or other Wi-fi spot for internet access, then when Giantbomb was being born and Beta'd... I was here.
I was looking at DSi unboxing videos and found the one of Jeff opening his and having that movie star thing play whenever he opened the box. Thought it was hilarious so I looked at the how to build a bomb videos and was immediately hooked. The humor really keeps me here.
Used to listen to Hot Spot, and later saw that Jeff and Ryan started Giant Bomb. I didn't actually come back and stay until I found out about the Endurance Run though. I really wish they had the desire to do more of them... To me Giant Bomb isn't much without the Endurance Run(s).
I was looking for gaming podcasts and found Arrow Pointing Down. Which is good, because I fucking HATE Gamespot, and would otherwise never have bothered.
A friend sent me a link to the Quick Look of the Jackie Chan arcade game, as I had been watching a lot of Jackie Chan Adventures at the time, and I just couldn't stop going to the site. And then they added Quests...

I followed Jeff for 5 years now have come to greatly respect his opinions and his insights and I love the way the sight stays small and relevant and still is on the cutting edge of news.
Wow, what are the chances that 90% of these people were here since the GameSpot days. Apparently the site hasn't grown since it was conceived. Its always been big!!!!

Phew, I am not a moron. You do know, not everyone on this website knew who Jeff was before they came too this site. I am guessing a lot of people, came because their friends told them about this website, so does this make them morons?
Anyhow, I did come here because of Jeff. After he got fired, Gamespot changed completely, I only go on if I need somewhere to watch E3. It was luck, that I came across this website when searching forums, and I am glad I did. I feel this is one of the best gaming websites on the internet today.
The only thing this website doesn't do is the trailer analysis for hidden details. Something I would like too see, but I am content with IGN Rewind. Quick looks are amazing, better than any "preview" I have seen, and the reviews you can trust. All of this is made better due to the team that is Giant Bomb.
Shortly after the Endurance Run of Persona 4 had ended, someone posted a link on... a news site, I forget which one it was now. Anyways, I had recently been watching a few Let's Plays and the like, and decided to see if the ER was any good.
...I watched the entire thing over the course of about a week, and ever since, Giant Bomb has been my go-to site for anything I need to know about video games.
followed jeff and the rest of those guys. they made GS what it was. the people they have now are worthless at gamespot. we just need rich and maybe tor over here and it is gold.
