What If Someone Else Had Your Avatar?

Would you care if someone else on the site had your exact avatar? I think some people on here wouldn't mind because they tend to change it a lot. I haven't changed mine since day 1 of the site so I'm not sure what I would do. I noticed someone else on here who had a Bob Ross avatar and I got a little irritated but it wasn't exactly mine so the moment passed.

I would kill someone if they had this exact same avatar as me. It is unique and I've had it ever since I joined Giant Bomb.

Copyright lawsuit. Also, I'm trying to get the intellectual property for breathing, if i get it anyone else breathing but myself can be punished by law, wish me luck guys!

Someone on this site does have the same avatar as me but he's not very active so it doesn't pose a problem… if this wasn't the case, I'd deal with the problem in the same way I deal with all my other problems: i'd murder someone

Well now I am really mad. But not to the point of murder. Maybe if he also has that avatar in tandem with a blue name.

Someone had the same one of Sam from Sam and Max a while ago, so I changed it. IIRC I got this image straight from the DVD, so I would be kind of annoyed if I saw someone with the same exact image.

I suppose if it were to happen, I'd feel flattered. Well, unless that person pretended to be me. Honestly, given some of the weirdos I've had to deal with, like an insane stalker last year, I'm surprised it hasn't happened.

Well I was joking because this is the default avatar for anyone with a PS3 as their console of choice, hence blue name and snake avatar. (I checked it because its the only console I have). I'm just too lazy to choose a different avatar and I see no real point seeing as avatars are tiny here.

That was my second one, I used to have a Diddy Kong one before that. But I didn't like those to much because those characters are big names, plus a bunch of people already had both of those avatars. Nobody has my avatar!

I've had it happen once, I just switched to something else. It was the demon tongue of Frakes.

George Ice Cube! (Found the image in your profile) As for the avatar thing, I would probably just end up changing it. It's just a cutout of a sombrero I found and I just added some color to it so it wouldn't be hard to go back in and give it a re-skin.

Well, the avatar I'm using now I stole from natetodamax, after he stopped using it of course. If someone else decided to use this one I would either do nothing or just change mine again. I don't really care. 
 
EDIT: Also, Christ this thread is confusing.

I would be a little confused considering I made mine, and probably a little flattered that someone would like it enough to steal. And then I'd ask them to change it.

Someone else did have my avatar and it confused the hell outta me once.

Well, I've had this one with slight variants since I joined the site.  I ran into this problem a couple months ago, I don't think they changed it and it's hard to tell who was here first.
