@mooseymcman: ...Yeesh. I presume you're posting under the intent of banter, but still.

Did I say something offensive? I'm sorry, I don't understand British slang. I probably shouldn't have.
@mooseymcman: No more offensive than calling someone a prick or what have you. Just was the way it escalated so quickly caught me off guard a bit...
@yummylee: Yeah, well, you gotta stay on edge when you're dealing with me, "DANGER AREAS."
It's a Twitter joke.
I really like this. I heard this before I had heard the original song. I knew there was some reference in the title of this track but it took me awhile to realize. I think it is a great use of sampling. Also, since it is vocals I thought this was the 'best' appropriation.
@mooseymcman: Here's to You played over the credits of MGS4 AND the opening of Ground Zeroes, at the very least those specific recordings are MGS songs.

No, only the MGS4 one. The one in Ground Zeroes is the original version from the movie, to the point where Skull Face even refers to the movie BY NAME. But yes, the MGS4 version was recorded specifically for that game.
@yummylee: No, most of the songs aren't licensed actually. Most were made for the game. The Best is Yet to Come, Calling to the Night, Heavens Divide, those are all made for the game. Hear's to You is rewritten by Harry Gregson-Williams for the credits of MGS4, but the original was used in Ground Zeroes, which was made by Ennio Morricone (the guy that did The Good, The Bad and The Ugly soundtrack). The only other song was Way to Fall, which was licensed.
Can't Say Goodbye to Yesterday is definitely my favorite, the vocals, lyrics and instrumentation on that track are very well put together. I must admit though, Snake Eater has a place in my heart for being well performed while having supremely ridiculous lyrics.
Edit: Oh I forgot to mention, I'm one of those asshats that spams the shit out of R1 during Snake Eater.
